MAPPING EVERYDAY ROUTES
This project is an exploration of spatial and sensory mapping of everyday routes. The goal was to not only map physical observations, but to extend our ideas of maps or mapping into what is not only seen, but also heard, smelled, felt etc. The routes we could choose were limited to those we take most often, so I chose the route I take when walking my dog. The challenge in this was trying to expand the way I perceive my surroundings in something as common as my neighborhood, and then finding a way to input that data into an appropriate visual representation.
